I hired Paul for two days in April and May 2021 on my new to me boat to help me learn how to handle dual engines and a larger boat in and out of a tight boat slip. Great teacher. We walked through all the major systems and safety. Practical advice and guidance on establishing checklists and routines. Very patient and very comprehensive. He is engaging from the moment you contact him and remains helpful after working with you. If your new to boating, or in my case needing more experience and confidence on a new boat, I highly recommend Paul. He is also great with families. My two young daughters were with me for the second day and he managed to keep them from being bored, which is no small accomplishment.

I was fortunate to meet Paul when when I first started sailing. I hired him for training and have sailed with him a number of times. His experience is vast and he strives to make every interaction a memorable experience. I recommend his services whether it be individual training, a boat delivery or just a pleasurable cruise on the Chesapeake.

We spent a lot of time with Paul when we bought our first boat to learn the all ropes and dos/don'ts of boating. It was a pleasure working with him, essentially taking us from humble beginnings to becoming very confident on the water and handling our boat. Several years later our dock mates refer to us as "the experts" and we have Paul to thank for that, we were about as far from that as you can get when we started and we owe it all to his teachings. No matter how seasoned of a boater one is you can always learn something, and there is always something to learn from Paul!

We used Paul to make our boating life easier. He removed and replaced all of the rotted planks from the dock, added a roller for boat protection, and installed a ladder to give us something to hold onto when boarding and disembarking. The dock looks brand new. Were very pleased. And the cost was more than reasonable. In addition, Paul took us out for a couple Of very helpful training sessions. Highly recommended.

It's a pleasure to write a review regarding the experience I had with Paul Foer as my boat coach and trainer. Paul demonstrates the utmost in professionalism and expertise when it comes to training novices. I needed much repetition in even the easiest aspects of sailing and Paul was very patient in going over each task numerous times until he felt that I understood things and was capable learning the skills. Paul is quite flexible in scheduling lessons and will be honest with you regarding if you need more help and when you're ready to set sail! Paul is a true Captain showing the ropes in all aspects of training, he doesn't lose his patience, and he may tell you a joke or two!
