I recently worked with Scott at first home mortgage to purchase my first home and the experience was excellent. Seriously. Scott is good at what he does. Scott is so responsive for questions (big and small), working with our realtor, etc. He would have answers to questions within minutes. We talked about ways we could save money, rates, programs etc. We had talked to a couple other lenders to compare rates and Scott, by far, was the person we wanted to work with because 1. His communication was excellent and fast 2. He got us a good deal and 3. He made the process easy. I like to get to know the people I'm working with and Scott made it so easy. He even surprised us and came to closing to say congratulalations and answer last minute questions. Totally recommend.

I highly recommend Scott Van Stone and First Home Mortgage as he and his team were very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and were able to able to get through the process quickly when I had a very tight timeframe. I will definitely be working with them in the future.

I greatly appreciate Scott's strong expertise and sage advice in the midst of this crazy housing market. This was my second time buying a home (my partner's first), and I wanted a team of creative thinkers who would play-out my options and patiently explain my options. Scott fits that bill.
We also had a quick close by industry standards and the portal/Scott's team was very easy to work with.

Scott was amazing! I admittedly am not the easiest client, I went through every doc with a fine tooth comb and asked tons and tons of questions. Not only that because of the crazy market, I was a client for a long time before finally deciding on something. Scott has been there since I first contacted first home mortgage and answered every question I had and wrote every estimate I asked for no matter the time of day! I would 100% recommend to family and friends.
