Celebrated my birthday at Julep with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon. My first time there will not be my last time. We overloaded on appetizers, and there was barely room for the main entrees. Our appetizers consisted of green fried tomatoes with shrimp, homemade biscuits, southern eggrolls, crabby fries, fried ribs, cream of crab soup with corn. My main entrees were the pork steak with onion straws, side orders of mac and cheese, and cole slaw. My steak was a generous portion cooked just right was tender and flavorable. I used the bourbon molasses sauce to add some extra flavor. It did not disappoint!! Hats off to the Pitmaster (I believe Bob) who came out to greet us and offer suggestions and to Joe, our server who did an exceptional job!! Parking: Parking is available in front of and the side of the building.
