Dropped off a part to an important machine that needed welding and machining. To me it seemed like a tricky repair. I didn't now if it could be done at all. Steve said it was no problem and the repair was completed in a week. I am very happy with the work and the machine runs better than new. I think Brackett Machine does great work at fair prices.

An oasis of talent, authenticity, and creativity. I've had two great experiences here. Both very small projects that they could have waved away. Instead, they gave me their time, energy, and did amazing work.

I was working on a small project and Steve helped me out by finding exactly what I needed, even though he was busy. Old school machine shop, they do it right. Definitely worth a try if you are dealing with any metal fabrication.

Terrible terrible place to go, the owner is very rude. I came in to get my jet ski jugs bored and honed, they said it would take 1-2 weeks. I was ok with that. After 2 weeks I gave them a call and they said not done yet. I waited 2 more weeks, gave them another call, they said not done yet. After 6 weeks I stopped by to see whats going on. I talked to Steve, asked him whats going on, he said he doesnt have the time right now, that hes busy, he said if I dont want to keep waiting to take the jugs and leave. Then another owner (very mean fella) walked by and angrily (almost yelling) to just take the jugs and leave. This grabbed me by surprise, I was very nice and was not rude to them whatsoever. I just came in so see whats going on. I picked up my jugs (which were just left on the floor) and ended up going to another machine shop, the guy there was a lot more knowledgeable and got my bores done in 2 days. I have dealt with bad customer service before but never to the point of having to leave a bad review. I rebuild engines often, and they lost a long term customer.
