Assistance Plus

Impossible to get an answer regarding wages, benefits etc. Their website is worse than talking to them on the phone. When you call them out on their on facebook posts they block you so others wont find their absolute failures in managementthe fact that several reviews here are from people associated with the company speaks volumes

I previously worked with Assistance Plus and left to pursue another interest. However, I missed all my hard-working, upbeat, amazing co-workers and supervisors and just HAD to come back! If you want to join a team that truly wants to make a difference, come to Assistance Plus! The company was founded by Johnna Bowen and is now run by her daughter, Jillian Jolicoeur. These two, inspiring women bend over backwards and advocate fiercely for both staff and clients.

Morgan Britto is my Case Manager, and is the most unprofessional mental health professional I have ever met! She has broken down with anxiety and mental health issues in my home more times than I am able to count. I don't know why she burdens me with her own issues - if she cannot remain professional than she should not be in the work field, especially this one. Morgan victimizes herself regularly and voices that her job is just wat too hard for her to accomplish. She stated that everybody is in jeopardy of becoming homeless on her client list and it's just way too difficult and taxing to try to find us all places to live. If you seem to have a difference in opinion from hers, she will take it personal and hold it against you on further visits and communication. I don't think she understands nor cares how detrimental her unprofessional behavior has been to my mental health the entire time she and her company have been providing me service. Every time I have tried to express this to her - how her behavior is negatively affecting me and my mental state - she makes it my fault. She knows the reason I am getting services is for mental health disabilities and I have more than one! I am very excited to be receiving case management services elsewhere starting September. I was supposed to have service's with Assistance Plus throughout July and August but Morgan Britto has made this simply impossible to do! She is simply incapable of putting personal feelings aside and remaining professional to execute her job professionally. She just doesn't have the skills, so I have chosen to be without service. Assistance Plus better not change me for July or August because Morgan has failed in every single way possible at this point. I have had numerous people apologize on behalf of Assistance Plus and their employee Morgan Britto's unprofessional behavior - so many have said, "Regardless of the situation at hand Shannon, we are in the Mental Health field to HELP! We are at service to the people that we work for, period. Nobody should be treated like you have been by this company. None of her reasons are justifiable"!
