Long-overdue review update coming soon. I really like them, but am still running into problems - I've been trying to get my contact lens prescription finalized for a week - I was supposed to get a call Monday, didn't get the call, so I called them and was to get an email or call back, but did not so I called them again, and still have not gotten a call back. I really like the doctors, the equipment is ultra modern, and they welcome theoretical questions (like, I have always been curious why color perception differs between my eyes despite not having any sort of color blindness) and [it turns out it's normal neorological processing of vision where one eye's information is received and processed before the other and most people don't even notice the subtle difference between the eyes], but logistics is something they are struggling with due to temporary staffing issues. I know they're working on getting things sorted out but it's having an impact on my trying to work things out to get things in on time for both insurance and business travel reasons and trying to get there during their optical center hours is often difficult because I often end up working until 5:30pm, and the optical center closes at 5:15pm.

Harbor View Eye Care charged me instead of billing my insurance provider... My insurance covered the cost of an exam and the contacts I wanted, but Harbor View Eye Care charged me instead of going through my insurance provider for the money. I imagine they did/do this because it is easier to get the money through an unknowing customer rather than deal with the insurance companies, regardless it is not a fair practice. Make sure you know what you are covered for by your insurance provider before paying Harbor View Eye Care's charges, they may try screwing you over.

Great business. Very professional staff. Ive had my eyes checked here; was a good experience (a longish wait time, though). They always fix my glasses for free even though I didnt buy them there.

I stopped by harbor view eyecare because a screw had fallen out of my glasses. They put a new screw in and didn't even charge me. I thought that was pretty cool since l didn't even get my glasses there. When l need new glasses will probably go there. Thanks Harbor View!

After being poked in the eye and suffering a corneal abrasion, Harbor View Eye Care fit me in their full schedule for an immediate appointment and two followups. I got temporary relief, a diagnosis and drops to prevent an infection. The doctor even gave me a cell phone # in case I experienced complications over the weekend. It took a week for my vision to return to normal but my care was A+.
