        It's a very bad day to use the service here. I spent more than 1 hour waiting until I ran out of my free time. It was a terrible day that I spent my free time in vain. If it is not necessary, I do not recommend that you use this service or change the network.

        So far waiting an hour to replace my inoperable modem while the 2 employees casually shop for phones with the same customers for > 40 minutes each

        I've been a Spectrum Mobile customer for three years. In the past I've used several other wireless carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Mint Mobile, and Straight Talk. At this point I can honestly say that Spectrum Mobile has been the best overall: best voice and data coverage, best reliability, best customer service, and best value. HOWEVER, I do want to point out that I've had nothing but problems with the free out-of-home wifi they offer as part of the service. They claim to have tens of thousands of free wifi hotspots located in businesses and public locations throughout the country. So far I've tried to use 12 of them here in southern Maine, and not a single one of them has actually worked. In two cases, the Spectrum Mobile wifi showed up as an available network, but when I tried to connect to it, I got an error message saying "unable to connect to network." In the other 10 cases, the Spectrum Mobile wifi didn't show up as an available network at all, even though I was standing inside the business or public place where the Spectrum Mobile wifi is supposed to be available (according to Spectrum's web site -- search for "Spectrum Out-of-Home WiFi Map" to see locations). 12 locations, and a 0% success rate; unacceptable. I've tried to talk with Spectrum customer service about this, but they always transfer me to someone else, and I end up being on hold for 30+ minutes and have to hang up because I have other things I need to do.

        You know the service is cheap cuz the store is full of people that need help. Too few employees, but lets give them a break cuz staffing is tough right now.
