From fixing flat tires, to purchasing multiple sets of tires, wheels, etc,etc..my family and I have always relied on Tire King. My car needed rims and tires, so I thought, instead of ordering them online, I would purchase them from a local business. My mechanic recommended Tire King. I ordered 4 new rims for my car and, because one of my tires is brand new, 3 all-seasonal tires. I waited a week without hearing from anyone, so called the following week to inquire about my order. I was told they were in. I asked when I could make an appointment to have them installed; he said he didn't do appointments, that it was first come first serve and that the average wait was 4 hours, so good luck. I thought it was a bit unreasonable to have to wait the 4 hours, so asked if I could just pick up the rims. He said I could do that. My husband went to pick up the new rims the next day, and was told the tires were already mounted to the rims. Hmm? My husband was offered an appointment (really?), so he agreed. He went back a couple of hours later for the appointment when FOUR STUDDED SNOW tires were put on my new rims, not THREE all-seasonals, like I specifically ordered, but FOUR studded snow tires! And not only that, but he also installed tire sensors that I didn't ask for, and never needed before, an additional $160! Now my cost was over $400 more than what I had been quoted. And it doesn't end there, because now, for another $400, I get to switch out my tires in the Spring for all-seasonals, like I ASKED FOR and always buy! Rest assured, I won't be going back there! Ever again! I've never experienced anything like that! Thanks Tire King! I hope you feel good about fleecing another female!
