The company is exceptional with abilities to service many clients and improve quality of life. The staff are also exceptional.and I am proud to have had the experience with comfort keepers.

22 beautiful care givers, 4,500 hours, over 3 1/2 years. We will forever be grateful for the care, comfort, friendship, and love that ALL of you gave our mom in the last years of her life. She loved you all, and certainly felt more than just a "client." From all of us, and our mama - THANK YOU. If you are reading this review and considering CK for one of your loved ones, we can heartily and without reservation recommend the team at CK. I was employed with Comfort Keepers, Scarborough ,Me. for almost 7 years. At first it was difficult . They use to have 1,2,3,4 hour shifts. I had to work hard and sometimes difficult days and evenings to gain enough hours. As time went on the hours and clients were stable could work 40 plus hours. It eventually went 4 hours mandatory for clients. I had family pass away and I also had health issues and needed surgeries. The staff was great and had my health and care as a priority until I was to return. The company was sold to another Director of Operations and undoubtedly changed the dynamics and operation as a whole. I loved my clients , work and schedulers ( they work hard ). I decided to leave only because I did not want to keep putting mileage on my vehicle and I was only getting calls for fill in shifts. Also I was beginning to feel under valued and not paid enough. Only raise was when we had to do our yearly education work . Since new ownership there were no more bonuses or incentive to feel appreciated and valued . I would recommend working them! I was looking for more stability due to loss of a client and losing hours then having to wait until a scheduler would find more hours .
