Best Western Plus Rumford Falls

I had a lovely stay and the staff here were very nice . The lady at the front desk was professional and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the hotel was very spacious and new . Ill definitely come back again

Beware. Stayed at hotel using Expedia as my booking agent. Used debit card at check in as the holding method for any incidentals. Thought it was bizarre nothing was pending from hotel by time of check out two days later. Asked and was told that charge is nothing. A then unknown hotel staff member mumbled under her breath and walked away causing the check out clerk to apologize to me. We blew it off but startled when $175 charged to our debit card less than 3 hours later. Called hotel and flabbergasted to learn the unprofessional staff member is a manager who claimed housekeeping brought linens which had hair dye on them and were damaged. She claimed there was purple hair dye. I got very upset obviously, who wouldnt with $175 charged to their card unjustly? Contacted Best Western corporate who stands behind manager claims and also accused me of being aggressive! Well who wouldnt be upset when someone steals $175 and it is pretty obvious this manager took one look at my husband and decided she didnt like what she saw. We did not dye our hair. Do not give this hotel your business. Unethical, unprofessional. Ruined what was supposed to be a getaway weekend. Have included photos of my husbands hair which is obviously faded out since the hotel says he dyed it there!
