        I wanted to write a review of Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn even though, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel the reservation I had made for days in August. I booked the reservation through an online agency and not directly through the Inn. According to that agency, there wouldn't be a cancelation fee if I canceled in a certain time period, which I did. When I received my credit card statement, I was surprised to see that I had been charged a fee. I called the Inn and spoke to the owner. He explained to me how the booking agency worked, and even though he didn't have to refund the fee, he said he would. (And he did.) Because he was so gracious and true to his word, I wanted to write a review acknowledging his excellent service. I am looking forward to visiting the Inn in 2024 and this time I will book directly through the Inn.
