Be aware of this business and consider carefully whether you want to engage in business with them . I looked at a truck yesterday for my son, and and the owner who depicted this as a private sale, however readily slapped a dealer plate he stated was from a buddy of his. When asked if I was able to take the truck to a local garage to confirm the "new inspection sticker " it had on it, he categorically declined . He stated he would personally guarantee any inspection failures, but when asked if he would include that on the bill of sale , he stated of course not. . He wanted his asking price and nothing less without any implied warranties , and stated he has many buyers that will buy it at his asking price sight unseen . Stay away folks, this one wants to grab your money with a special stop light warranty for his goods... Soon as he no longer sees your stop lights driving away...it's no longer warrantied. If the truck was just inspected and passed all safety related items legitimately, there should be no resistance to taking it to a third party for confirmation of inspectable items. Was just looking to verify inspection prior to any purchase for the $17K asking price before my son financed it, but if your going to hide something, just refuse to let another party confirm and maybe some unsuspecting trusting individual will get swindled. Folks like this should be investigated by the Maine DA.

Over the last 15 years or so, I have purchased several vehicles from Tom at Auto Werke and each one has been reliable, safe and mechanically sound. When it was time for a "new to me" truck, once again, Tom came through and had just the vehicle that i was looking for... I appreciate having the local sales and service that goes waaaay beyond the sale, thanks Tom!! Another sweet ride!!

Ive bought many cars over many years from Tom at Auto Werke. I use them for all my repairs and service and am very thankful to have have someone local that I can trust and who gets the job done as it should be. Cant thank you enough Tom.

I bought a Rav4 from Tom just recently and am very pleased with the vehicle. It runs great and the few little things that needed fixing were done with no problem at all and in record time. I appreciate the honesty shown by Tom and the fact that he gets right back to you if you contact him. Carey at the desk as you come in is really fun and gets things done and I hear tell that the mechanic in that same building is the "best in the state".
