Holiday Woods at Canco

Canco Woods provided a home for my mother on very short notice when due to her contracting a tick borne illness she was unable to return to her home in Florida as planned. Although she was only there for three months, I was very impressed with the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff, from management to dietary aides, to the residents. It is clear that the residents there are thriving in the safe and nurturing environment that Canco Woods provides. Kathy on the management team is especially kind and helpful and geninely interested in the well being of the residents of Canco Woods. Thank you Kathy and all the staff at Canco for ensuring that the seniors at Canco live their best life possible.

When I decided to return to Maine I was looking for a secure, comfortable, and fun place to live. I wanted to be free of household duties, worrying about water, oil, electricity, and repairs. Plus I wanted a place that I could meet new friends and enjoy life. I have found that at The Woods. The staff here is pleasant, friendly, helpful, and..... fun! They provide me with three meals a day, a plethora of activities, great walking trails, surrounded by woods. I am close to the city, the back bay, and shopping, but yet have a peaceful surrounding. I believe i have found the right place to live out my blessed life.

Newly remodeled, a high-class chef, and a good sense of community amongst the residents. The Woods at Canco truly is gracious retirement living!
