Unitil - Natural Gas Company

I owe 140 for actual usage, completely forgot about a heat bill over the summer, they didn't check meters, NOTHING! And I somehow owe $422, how? Where? Good luck I'm not paying a dime for something I didn't use! Talk about highway robbery! As if we don't get screwed everyday, every way else already.

Thanks for leaving both cellar doors to my apartment building open for a homeless man to come in and steal stuff. Couldve locked it after you came in especially since youre making a mess out of the road for no benefit to residents!!!!!!

On May 4th at 6PM a Unitil employee handed a letter to a friend at my house. The form letter indicated that I was past due. A box was checked that said our service was NOT being shut off at this time, however we need to pay the bill. I see this letter at around 3Pm on May 5th. I immediately call the automated system and learn that my payment is due on May 15th. I pay my bill at this time. I try to cook dinner to for my family only to realize that my gas had been turned off. I call unitil assuming there was some type of neighborhood problem. I was informed my gas had been turned off. There was no note pinned to my door or anything. Customer service was unapologetic and said someone could turn it back on between 7:30 Am and 4:30 PM. Not willing at all to narrow that window down even a little. I am a small business owner whose business was shut (not by me) during the pandemic. I have been working 7 days a week to dig myself out of a hole and can in no way just sit in my house all day waiting on Unitil to fix their mistake. Unitil is a monopoly that gouges their customers and treats us like garbage because they can. Evil people run this company and empty headed careless individuals work for them

I question their enforcement of safety standards. Just passed a truck in busy traffic not using a blinker when making turns.
