She is skilled in structural design, down to the details of finding fixtures and furniture. After spending way too much time on the first several decisions; during a project to renovate our home, I quickly decided I needed help!
On a very busy day, as I sat in the gym parking lot researching interior designers, I was lucky enough to stumble upon Annies business website. From there, I looked at pictures of her past jobs and it was obvious she would be exactly the help I needed!
As soon as I reached out to Annie she immediately made herself available for a phone call and that was the beginning of our amazing jorney together!
The way Annie presented decisions that needed to be made with collages or by collecting actual samples and laying them out on tables in her office made it so easy for me to decide on things such as paint colors, counter top materials, flooring, light fixtures, fans, backsplash, rugs, furniture and more!
Annie went above and beyond during our project in so many ways I couldnt begin to list them all!
I was so lucky to find Annie to assist with my renovation project but Im even luckier that we formed a friendship that will last forever!
I can honestly say, I have never worked with someone that was more responsive, customer focused, organized, talented, competent, knowledgeable, caring and the list could go on!
I would highly recommend Annie to anyone in need of interior design services. I dont think there is anyone better! We simply love Annie! We recently built a house and worked with Annie to customize the base floorplan we'd purchased, design the kitchen and other spaces, and select a variety of finishes and features. We unfortunately were working with a very challenging builder who made it difficult for Annie to do the full scope of services she'd typically provide for a new build, but she was an incredibly flexible and supportive partner to us throughout the project nonetheless. Every vendor she recommended to us was phenomenal and we got top-notch customer service from all of them because of her longstanding relationships. All in all, we'd highly recommend Annie! Annie K. is a treasure! After a long search my partner and I were thrilled to find our coastal Maine cottage, but it was largely untouched from the 1980's. Basically, it was dated, but not so dated as to be charming :) That is where Annie came in. She helped us update the space (hello beautiful wide white oak floors and ginormous ocean facing window) and at the same time add little charming touches (enter custom backsplash ledge where we display our beach treasures). With Annies help our home is not only updated but has a beautiful sense of time and place. The scope included a small addition, new entryway, two redesigned bathrooms, new lighting, new flooring, better flow with moved doorways, and an airbnb ready suite with ocean front deck. I initially debated whether to even work with a designer because I know what I like, but it was the absolute best decision because Annie helped refine my vision, prioritize my wants, and best of all execute to make it all a reality.
