Fireside Inn & Suites Portland

It was just FINE for me and my family, we Lost power and the Storm kept us there ONLY 15mins from my house but seriously though outa the hotels on Riverside St in Portland off exit 48 Maine turnpike exit 48 its right there off the pike and on Riverside St right there off it and IT DEFINITELY IS THE BEST ONE IN THAT AREA OF PORTLAND. BEEN GOING THERE SINCE THEY CALLED IT HOLIDAY INN. SAME OWNERS AS THE HOLIDAY INN BY THE BAY IN PORTLAND.

Rooms need updated really really badly for the price!!! They put us in a room with the windows facing the 95 on ramp and all you could hear were loud cars all night.

Its a Really big place; so be sure to get a map to your room!!! I got lost a few times, taking about 5 minutes just to get from my far away room, to the front lobby!!! If you come in on a corporate account, like myself; then a distant room, with unexciting views, are mandated, I was told!!! Its NOT a bad place; just in an original condition. A little carpet cleaning, and some new pillows, would go a long way!!! But, they do provide lots and lots of nice, clean towels!!! They have an indoor pool, and a nice fitness center, and guest laundry!!!
