I can't say enough about Heron Holly Studio. I am one of those people who, despite having moved to Maine almost 2 years ago, still travels across the country every few months to get my haircut by the same stylist who has cut my hair for more than a decade. Let's face it, we have all experienced a bad cut and a good stylist can be hard to find so, when you find a good one, it's hard to go anywhere else, Recently, due to unforeseen circumstances, I found myself in desperate need of a haircut and unable to travel. I was recently given the contact details for Margaret from Heron Holly Studio along with a glowing recommendation so I decided to take the plunge and call. Margaret was so kind and got me in right away. From the moment I walked into her studio, I felt at ease. She was so warm and friendly that I felt like I had known her for years instead of minutes. She was so patient and kind and gave me the perfect haircut. It was a huge relief and I ended up leaving with a bounce in my step and a smile on my face. Thanks, Margaret!! I will be back!

Margaret is an amazing stylist and colorist. In addition, she is the loveliest person and your experience in her salon is extraordinary! Because she only takes one client at a time in the gorgeous salon, it is so incredibly relaxing to have your hair done. And the results are fabulous! I never thought I could replace my hair stylist in nyc but Margaret is Just as talented!

Margaret was exceptional! She listened to my hair goals with presence. And asked questions to clarify as needed so we could cocreate the cut I was looking for. Her shampoo products that she carries eufora smells amazing and left my hair and scalp so fresh. She recommended some shampoo and conditioner to combat the hard well water effect on my hair I have rescheduled and cant wait to return to her space. It is so airy and beautiful and well curated.
