Plan on 2 or 3 hours for basic service and a cleaning. Well worth it, service is top notch. All the latest and best equipment. Better x-rays than I got when I had top notch insurance and payed more as a copay than the cash price at UNE. Most appointments (pediatric side) will be a second year and a third year student teamed up with a dude older and wiser than Yoda overseeing the whole deal.

My dentist is Hannah. I unfortunately haven't been to the dentist for awhile. Hannah explained everything. She is extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable and caring. She and her assistants work well together Highly recommend UNE Dental.

So I want to start with I know its a school and theyre students. But Ive been trying to finish all my dental work with them for over 2 years. At one point they canceled 2 appointments without telling me, then for almost a full year they kept telling me this semester is full, contact us in X months during the next semester. So I would and for the same answer. Dont bother trying to call them because the receptionists do NOT answer the phone. Ive tried calling well over 15 times in one day without a single answer and its happened multiple times. Then on top of that when I finally made it back in for appointments they changed the student who had been working on my teeth and the new student was overly rough, and after hearing his professor say the work youve done is passing, but next time try.. he waited till the professor to walk away and started re working my tooth like a art project, taking over 3 hours for a single filling and leaving other teeth in pain and my gum line exposed. Now because I missed a third appointment in 7 months, (one was a blizzard, and another was a family emergency) they dropped me as a patient and refused to work with me. This place doesnt care about patients in the least. If I could rate the professionalism, flexibility, and quality of the work a 0 out of 5 stars I would. Again, I get its students learning, and I was more then patient and never complained until I got a call the day before my next appointment telling me Im being dropped as a patient.

First, I do understand that its s school and the students are there to learn. When I made my appointment it was for a cleaning and x-rays. However, when I got to my appointment, it was not what I was told. I expect it to be longer than an appointment at a regular dentist office. However, when I arrived, they told me it would be a four hour appointment then still they might not have time for the cleaning. I wasnt going to sit there for a four hour appointment and still may not get a cleaning. I certainly am not going to pay them for something I wasnt going to receive. I thanked the student and professor and decided to leave. None of this was explained to me over the phone and its nowhere on their website. If I knew I would had paid the extra to go to a regular dental practice. Which Ill now do.
