Growing Learners @ Steven's Square

You know when you get a bad gut feeling about a place like something shady is going on? That's how I started to feel about Growing Learners. We have been on the waiting list for two years and the lack of transparency is making us feel uncomfortable. A lot of people have said good things about Little Hands in Falmouth.

The very first thing we did when we confirmed that we were pregnant was to get on the Growing Learners waiting list. Growing Learners came highly recommended from several close friends and colleagues and was our top choice. I couldn't be happier with my experience at this daycare! From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly care about the well-being of each and every child in their care. My toddler has attended Growing Learners for nearly three years and he has thrived here. I've seen such amazing growth in his social, emotional, and cognitive development. The curriculum is top-notch, and the activities are engaging and age-appropriate. The facility itself is clean, bright, and full of stimulating toys and equipment. I feel confident and secure leaving my child in their capable hands, and I know he's getting the best possible care and education. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for their little ones!

We have had our child at the Stevens Square location since it opened. Our experience at Growing Learners has been incredible. All the teachers and administrators genuinely care about the kiddos. Our daughter loves school and has learned so much!

I don't think it's possible to convey how we've felt about Growing Learners since we started part-time in 2021. Our girl is has been full-time for quite some time now and is going to be done as kindergarten is starting later this year. She has been absolutely thriving here. Every teacher we've ever interacted with has been nothing but kind and professional. They take any concerns to heart and make sure every student is treated with love and support. They always stay in touch with news and updates, and are involved one on one if it's ever needed. They offer a wonderful curriculum and activities and always share photos and updates every day. We have NEVER felt discomfort leaving our girl with the teachers here, and she truly loves their involvement in her life. We only wish she could stay here for kindergarten. It will be a true loss for us and our girl when we move on, but GL and the staff have made an incredible, positive impact on the most important thing in our lives that can never be forgotten, and our appreciation can not be fully expressed. Please take any negative reviews because of "no contact" or "no space available" with a grain of salt, I know child care is hard to find and can be very frustrating, but these aren't indicative of these schools in ANY way whatsoever. If you do get the opportunity to send your child here, please do. They will only be better because of it.

My youngest has been at Growing Learners for many years since we left our previous daycare which was not meeting our standards. My husband and myself cannot say enough positive things about Alyssa (the owner of GL) and all of her staff. Families who get into this daycare will likely stay until their children graduate from the program. I never leave my child at Growing learners concerned that they wont enjoy their day. Alyssa makes sure to provide the kiddos with lots of experiences from weekly yoga to exploring police cars, ambulances, and wildlife. My child has grown and thrived under the care of exceptional teachers who truly love and care for children. I am especially grateful for the the attention and care that all of the teachers and staff take in recognizing your child as an individual, with unique social emotional needs. My child has been able to grow their identify and confidence throughout their time at GL. I would not hesitate to recommend GL to friends and family and we are devastated that our kiddo will soon graduate and we will have to leave this wonderful community.
