Alouette Beach Resort

We had a wonderful stay. The location was amazing and Peter at the front desk exceeded our expectations. Clean rooms, had a great view of the ocean and breakfast each day at the cafe was wonderful.

Service was excellent at check in, very friendly. Upgraded our room to best available with a lovely beach facing balcony. Room was spacious, with TV in each bedroom. Enjoyed the trundle option in the twin bedroom. The best part was the complimentary breakfast, with options ranging from French toast to egg sandwich. The staff in the restaurant were amazing and very friendly both times. We happened to go at Easter and a waitress was dressed in the Bunny costume, handing out eggs. Highly recommend visiting.

Make sure you call to verify what amenities are available. We stayed last weekend and my 6 year old was so excited about the indoor pool. The website showed as open and available. When we checked in the woman said, "I'm sorry, I know it shows as open but it's not". We should update that she said. My kid was devastated. We also lost power that night until we checked out. I understand that's behind their control but it added to the unpleasant stay. I paid over 300 dollars for 1 night and just got a sorry, oops about the pool. I have stayed here many times but this last time, due to the lack of caring about being dishonest, I will not stay here again

Just finished mediation with you two weeks ago, got no where, no refund! Do not stay here!! Nothing looked the same as it does on the website. Worst place I ever stayed. I will be contacting Better business bureau and the health department. Every staff member was so rude. Our room lost power and guy on duty threatened to call cops on us. No internet connection. Outside pool was not headed. The room was FiLTHY.i have over 20 pictures to prove this. Save your money$260. Plus tax a night. The dirtiest place I have been to!! Do yourself a favor do not book a vacation stay! Save your money, book somewhere else! Worst place all around!! Make sure you read TripAdvisor reviews!!

Bruce and his burnt toast...... First of all, we loved this place. Family oriented. Clean and friendly. The breakfast was the best part. If you go between 7am and 8am you'll usually run into Bruce who is a local. He's a character. Between hackings, I wasn't sure if I'd be required to do chest compressions on the poor fellow. My guess is that once upon a time he got his toast burnt because he mentioned it about 4 or 5 times. Bruce just adds to the atmosphere. We were there during a storm where the waves pushed into the parking lot. The girl that checked us in was friendly and helped us order a pizza as we checked into our room after driving 11 hours. Also, the girl that checked us out was friendly as well. Her dog was cute!!! We will be back, just not sure when.
