We went there on Sunday and Monday during our long weekend. They had just reopened after losing power for three days after a storm. The food was excellent both times and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed Gretchen, our bartender on Sunday, but all staff were great! We signed up for the rewards program even though were likely to go there once or twice a year because its about an hour and a quarter away. But we know we will be back. Highly recommended. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu available, which was great because my wife has Celiac Disease.

From the moment we walked into Peppers, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere is fresh, clean, and welcoming, with a uniquely designed bar that instantly draws you in. But what truly made our night special were the people who brought the experience to life. It was Josh's first night, and he was absolutely great! However, the star of the show was our primary server, Gretchen. She was nothing short of spectacular, providing exceptional service and representing the business in the best possible light. Her professionalism and warmth are the reasons we'll continue to return to Peppers. The food was a culinary delight. We indulged in many "1 buck shucks" from the Damariscotta River, which were fresh and delicious. My wife, Amy, enjoyed the seafood pasta, while I savored a cheeseburger cooked to perfection at medium rare. The flavors were spot-on, and each dish was a testament to the kitchen's expertise. To complement our meal, Amy had a lovely Chardonnay, and I enjoyed a couple of great, cold beers. Everything from the ambiance to the service and the food made our evening at Peppers an experience we thoroughly enjoyed and will fondly remember. We can't wait for our next visit!
