Pressey House

Nikki and Ron are amazing salt or the earth people. They were extremely accommodating in a rush type situation. I could have stayed up there for days just hanging out. She made you feel like you were home. Breakfast was so delectable! French toast and a raspberry banana parfait with fresh coffee to start your day! Will be staying at this beautiful place anytime I'm up and there is availability. Less than $250 night and it was such serene space. In the morning from the room I was staying you could see the entire quiet lake. Rooms: Beautiful, Immaculate, Comfortable Safety: Extremely Safe Food & drinks: Delicious and various options

My husband and I chose to stay here for the first time with our 5 year old daughter while visiting family who were camping in the area. What a wonderful decision! The room was beautiful and clean (and the bed was so comfy!), the breakfast was delicious (made with local ingredients) and the grounds were gorgeous. The owner (Nicole) was just lovely and so accommodating to our 5 year old (who basically eats nothing) by making her pancakes just for her. Outside, there is a dock with Adirondack chairs, fun tubes, and canoes/ kayaks to take out (and more). I love that the owners kept the historic feel of the place but still offer Wi-Fi and television. And they are dog lovers (next time we will bring our dog)! I highly recommend Pressey House for couples and families. Wish we could have stayed longer, and I would love to go back.
