Little River Photo Workshops

We were a group of four children (ages 8-13) and three adults. Steve and his friend, Pete, provided just the right instructions for all of us to begin taking photos within an hour of our arrival. His property is wonderfully set up to take advantage of various types of nature images and the kids were able to take photos of whatever sparked their curiosity. Steve gave individual instruction to each of us and encouraged our specific photographic interests. It was the highlight of our Maine vacation and has sparked a new approach to how we observe nature, especially in the children. We highly recommend Steve's photo workshop! Steve Morello is a highly knowledgeable, engaging and effective photography instructor who makes it fun to learn. As a novice, he helped me understand things I never knew about my camera and its capabilities. The farm provides a wonderful variety of habitats for landscape and wildlife, and Steve is a warm and personable guy! I look forward to more lessons from him!

Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, fun, experienced instructor who works hard to make sure that you get what you want out of your time with him. You step out the door to a wide choice of photo subjects with an expert guide and instructor. We concentrated on making macro images and I had great success under his tutelage. I was introduced to focus stacking and more, and learned how the little details make such a big difference in your photos. Ill be going back every year (or more).

Enjoyed a delightful morning with an experienced wildlife photographer. As a classroom teacher, I was impressed with, and appreciative of Steve's teaching chops. I am a beginner with the camera, but was encouraged and challenged by this instructor. In a few hours I learned the basics and was shooting decent images on his beautiful property. I look forward to more sessions with this knowledgeable and passionate instructor.
