        We have been on other food tours and this one gave you excellent portions. If you leave hungry its your own fault! Timothy was our tour guide and gave a lot of insight into the town. Would highly recommend this tour.

        Ross led our Daily Walk Through Time tour and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He has clearly done this many times and has a great command of time and context to tailor the day to the conditions and the interests of the group. We had maybe 8 in our group, which is about as big as it needs to be to keep everyone included in the narration. It's a nice touch to be led into the Customs House and have Jeff lead part of the discussion.

        First time in Portland for us Coloradoans and the Walking History Tour was outstanding! I wish we'd scheduled it our first day, but anytime would enlighten folks about the city and waterfront. Guide Ross could not have been better. An expert on Portland history, he was friendly, organized, humorous, and offered lots of information including restaurant tips and architecture. The Walking Tour was a highlight of our visit. We'd definitely book another.

        Timothy was an excellent host. He filled the tour with a lot of great information about Portland and created a fun, kind and welcoming environment for all. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Portland, Maine area!

        Timothy was a great guide, told great stories, and gave great tips about Portland, which is what we hoped for in a quality food tour. However, a food tour should have a reasonable variety of food. For the price we paid, I would have expected one or two more stops for food. Also, it was awkward the way Timothy asked for tips at the end of the tour and how he tried to explain how much you should give him. In the future, it would be better if the food tour company just explained that to the participants prior to the tour. My wife and I have done many food tours in many cities, and some are great and some not so wonderful. This tour was not terrible, but certainly not the best, especially for the price paid, but I was still glad we did it. We took a food tour in Portland about eight years ago and had 3 of the 4 same stops, plus 4 more. for double the price we expected at least as much this time.
