Waldo Emerson Inn

Easy to find with a delightful hostess! Amelia greeted us, took us on a tour, shared the history of the Inn, and gave us recommendations for dinner. Waldo Emerson Inn has all the things you could ever want while staying away from home. Our room was lovely and the bed so comfy and cozy! Amelia had Happy Anniversary wishes posted in our room upon our arrival. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and soda were available right outside of our room with beer/wine available downstairs in the living areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Inn and woke up the next morning to the aroma of a delicious breakfast waiting for us downstairs. Amelia is lovely and we enjoyed her company whilst visiting. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay at a home away from home:)

Wonderful! A wonderful historic home filled with treasures and charms. Very kind hosts and a delicious breakfast. We will return there.

Just perfect!!! The Inn is beautiful and the owners, Ron and Amelia are delightful. The homemade cookies and breakfast were amazing, Did I mention the chocolates,robes,books , carafes of water and bedding? I will definitely be coming back. Alissa

The Inn was charming. Amelia and Ron (the owners) were very accommodating and just very nice people. The room we stayed in was wonderful and we got to take a peak at 2 other rooms as well. Would have been happy to stay in any of them. The breakfast was in the kitchen which was a period environment and was lovely and on top of that the food was great was as well. Nice library and living room to unwind in the evening. Even in the dead of winter the room was warm (and you can adjust your own room temperature). Will be planning on staying there again as we have family in Maine. Rooms: Well done. Bed was comfortable. Absolutely charming Nearby activities: 5 minutes from the Kennebunkport beaches

The inn is perfect in every way! The house and property are beautiful and you truly feel like you have wandered back in time all while enjoying modern conveniences. The location is perfect, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown areas and a short ride to all beaches, restaurants and attractions. Amelia and Ron are absolutely wonderful and made sure we were well cared for. We cannot wait to stay again and will be missing Amelias fabulous breakfasts until then!
