Lovely innkeepers. Clean. Great hospitality. Nice breakfast. Surrounded by beautiful woodland.

Wish we could give more than 5 stars. The rooms are comfortable, we went in the middle of a Maine heat wave and our room had an air conditioning unit- not something we expect of a B&B in Maine. Breakfast is always amazing, and the inn keepers are genuinely some of the nicest people you will meet. After coming out of COVID, they are still taking every precaution to keep their guests safe while keeping them happy. If you are looking for a place off a busy road, but just a walk into town, you need to check them out!

My SO and I stayed at Swan House for 2 nights mid-Sept. It was exactly as described. I loved that it felt like we were visiting family, as Lyn and Ken were perfect hosts. Breakfasts were delicious with eggs, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, & muffins. They serve in a lovely glassed-in sunroom overlooking the front sloping lawn. The house is located a short couple blocks from Hwy 1, so you dont have traffic noise. We were in the Carriage House which is less than 10 steps from the main house. The 2nd floor room flooring was amazingly solid and never once squeaked; beautiful wood floors. The room was tastefully decorated, had a comfortable bed and extra seating, a wardrobe and dresser, and the bathroom was large enough to move around comfortably. I definitely recommend this B&B.

TOP NOTCH all the way! Ken and Lyn are just the nicest, most gracious, most helpful hosts! The house is located about 6 blocks from Camden's "downtown" area, totally walkable and helps avoid the traffic and parking snares you'll find there. The rates are very reasonable for the season and location (and believe me, we searched and compared). We stayed in their Trumpeter room (loved our special private balcony to look out over the yard/woods). And breakfast? Ken and Lyn make you feel like royalty each morning with these huge spreads. Fresh fruit, yogurt, juice (a different juice each morning!) as well as lemon cakes or muffins. But that's just the start. Once you're settled out comes the main course - tasty belgian waffles or omelets that are always perfectly cooked. And, because the portions are large and plentiful, Lyn will bring you a doggie bag for leftovers (and there are always leftovers!). If that's not enough to lure you in, Ken and Lyn are the consummate travel guides, pointing you to restaurants, tours, and shops they feel are worth your while (and not necessarily the "touristy" things to do). So, BOOK NOW! This place fills up and there are only a handful of rooms. You won't find a better location or better hosts in all of Camden!
