        I booked most of our rooms before traveling but this one was last minute. We usually prefer a king but choose doubles with a river view. That turned out great because my hubby was beat after driving and I set my camera up to take photos of the Penobscot bridge through the window. Not the most up to date looking bedspreads etc but it was clean, the lady who checked us in was nice and the view was great. We also enjoyed walking along the river path. We didn't take the time to look around the area much but it appeared to be easy walking to several places to eat or shop

        Pleasantly surprised. Property is dated however it is clean and the staff are super friendly and engaging. Great location overlooking the river, Fort Knox and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge. Nice walking trail on the water and dining options all within a couple minutes walk. We will be back. Walkability: Great walking path adjacent to property. Food & drinks: Several options nearby. Noteworthy details: Fantastic views available.

        My 2nd time staying here. Both stays our rooms overlooked the water. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location to places to eat and a Hannaford close by. Very nice waterfront walking path. Friendly helpful staff.
