So glad this wonderful little gem is back open after a few weeks of set backs! The offerings may not be as numerous as someplace like Wild Oats, but what they lack in variety they make up for in deliciousness and charm! I have a friend in town is who is from France, and said the pain au chocolat (chocolate croissants) are the same as the ones at home. I brought my niece here today for a special breakfast, and even she commented on how GOOD the bakery smells when you walk inside. I've noticed that many bakeries or coffee places in town get a sort of "burned toaster crumbs" smell that overpowers everything. Here, it just smells like fresh bread and pastries. The only problem with this place is that I struggle from "I want to eat everything!" paralysis because it all looks so amazing, and end up just panic-ordering a chocolate croissant every time instead of trying the other scrumptious-looking delights!
