        The dockmaster, Ian, at Hodgdon Marina was super helpful during our visit to Boothbay. He answered the radio quickly, was ready and helpful when we arrived at the dock for refueling and gave us all kinds of great advice about visiting town, the area and our planned next travels. The mooring was convenient and comfortable close to the dock for quick and easy access to visit town a short 10 min walk away.

        We have sailed from Georgetown the Bahamas to Acadia and back. I rarely give 5 stars. Ian, the dock master, is one of the most helpful, friendliest I have run into. It's a small marina, but well protected for Boothbay. Laundry facilities were clean. Marina is convenient to town. All-in, a great experience. Will stop by again. SV Respite.
