Visited this establishment when I learned a 2 year old I had sold, under a "return to me" contract, had been brought to them. Mona Jerome told me I could visit him only once because I " gave him up". I did not bring him there. I was told by Mona Jerome that she would not let me take him home. I visited and he galloped to me when I called. I emailed Ms. Jerome every year since then, begging to visit and she ignored my emails. This horse was gentle and well started under saddle when she got him yet was described as starting "groundwork". There was NO BENEFIT to this horse to be kept in an over crowded, under staffed rescue. I willingly gave Mona Jerome his title and showed her the (broken) contract I sold him with. I recently emailed again as we are moving and begged to visit him. No reply. Photo under saddle, is just before he left my home. This rescue is run by uneducated volunteers being guided by what appears to be an angry, spiteful old woman. Barn is less than adequate. Second photo is, tragically, the same horse after spending under 2 years at this rescue....I pray he has found a home.
