Better off with no insurance at all!!!! I got rear ended in Searsport ME on10/14/2022 while parked half on a curb as safely as I could park while cutting and removing a hazardous oak tree for a nice woman. Almost lost my life honestly as my hands were over the bed of my 2019 Silverado when the car made impact to my bumper as I jumped straight back narrowly missing my bumper which caused extreme nervousness some might even say PTSD on foot near roadways. I took the high Rd and didn't lawyer up hoping them and the mother company Safeco would take care of me but not even close to the case. I put $5k down on a $36,000 2019 certified pre owned dealership pickup that requires insurance proof and I believe approval and there answer after giving me a Hyundai Elantra to replace my truck for a while. (I'm a farmer) and told enterprise that and they said you're insurance which is their ultra plan or best most expensive plan that I pay 118 a month for a home and two vehicles which now they stopped will only cover that car hahaha what am I paying for if it doesn't replace what I lost or even come close. The woman in the Allen insurance office who talks real nice and might be but probably has her hands tied by her bosses just told me they can't go any higher than their offer of $34,950 because the bluebook value tells them to. I purchased the truck like 2 months ago..... So here I sit not able to do much on the farm to support my family with my cute worthless rental car and don't have my $5000 down payment or the truck it went towards!!!! Doesn't sound like the definition of insurance to me! Greedy snakes in my eyes and I'll make em pay but at my time and efforts expense now unfortunately because they forced my hand. So to recap I did nothing wrong, own 0% fault in the accident and don't have anywhere near an equal replacement to work with. Did I mention Enterprise rental is taking $30 a day to pay for the rental car that this amazingly nice talking but 0 working company cancelled payment on 3 days ago since I wouldn't sign their low ball replacement offer. Maybe nobody has ever stood up for themselves and challenged their evil ways. I hope the mother company Liberty Mutual has a moral bone and brain to make this right or they will meet my legal team after I leave this review on their site. Steer clear or go without seriously!!! I lost $6,000 by my calculation. Probably would have been less costly without insurance! Share with anyone that might get sucked in to sweet talking....
