Jorgensen Landscaping

I reached out to Jurgensen‘s to ask them why I was having to shovel my own walkway when it is in my contract and I’m 6months pregnant. The owner responded by leaving me a voicemail telling me that if I didn’t like it to “move the hell out”.It’s not the fact that I “don’t like” it, it’s the fact that you guys get paid to shovel, snow blow, and snow plow by a certain time in the morning, have a contract for it and everything asking us to be off our property by a certain time in the morning so you can, and then your pregnant customers are having to do it themselves. it would be one thing if I wasn’t six months pregnant and having to shovel after that blizzard, but it’s not something that I physically should be doing.

For many years Jorgensen’s has done the year round landscaping and snow removal at the complex where I live, and they do a great job. All of their workers are professional, polite, and efficient. Mark Jorgensen, the owner, is not only a nice man, he is generous to local non-profits.

I have been to a number of Jorgensen designed properties and continue to find myself struck by how each one is so thoughtfully appointed. It's evident that Mark and his crew know what they are doing and they know how to do it exceptionally well. The attention to detail and the level of care that has clearly gone into each job lends a person that feeling of whimsy when you are in a place that is both beautifully designed and yet, welcoming and natural. It makes you want to stay for awhile. Through visiting these properties, I've met Mark several times and have consistently been impressed by him, not only because of the work his company is doing, but also because of his quality of character. They'll be the first I'll call for future projects!
