I spoke with a representative who promised me to send documents over me via fax. They send me a receipt but cannot in their minds think of sending a dec page. Wants me to submit a second request.

Three years ago, we enrolled in flood insurance through our broker and paid, feeling secure. This fall, in September, I noticed only one paid bill from the insurance company, as we have both flood and homeowners insurance with the same firm (Lloyds of London). I emailed our broker, but after receiving no reply, I called her a few weeks later. She informed me that it had been canceled due to a lack of payment, and I explained that we never received a second bill or even a cancellation notice, and her agency never followed up. She promised to provide new quotes, and a few weeks later, she mailed a promise that they would be coming soon. Almost three weeks passed, and then came the big storm. Unfortunately, we had no flood insurance in place. While there was only mild damage, the lack of follow-through and professionalism will still cost us.
