This was our second year in a row vacationing at Helens Blue Rose Cottage in Bar Harbor, ME. It was, again, an amazing experience. The cottage is positioned five minutes from the bustling downtown where there are so many amazing restaurants and shops. The location alone is a major amenity, as parking in Bar Harbor can be challenging.
Helen creates a classic New England feel at her cottage, with beachy artwork and photos hung throughout the four bedrooms and one bath. The entire cottage is stacked with all of the amenities youll need for the week, from kitchenware to linens and toiletries. The backyard has a gas grill. The front yard has a nice fire pit that we used almost every night.
If youre looking to visit Bar Harbor, Helens cottage is a downtown gem for a family vacation.
