Just returned from a long weekend in Bar Harbor and stayed at Cleftstone. I will definitely return. The property is convenient to all of the local attractions although we did drive into town. The walk after all we did each day was too much. . The room was immaculate, the breakfasts were excellent, the owners were welcoming and accommodating and the common areas were very nice. We used the pool and hot tub at the neighboring property which was a bonus as was the resident pup. If a B&B vibe is your thing, this is an excellent place to space.

Where do we start! The staff was amazing and very attentive. Ann was so accommodating to her guests and when she was out he son Robert was no exception he was also wonderful. The breakfast meals were unbelievable and the presentation was beautiful! We look forward to going back again.

Highly recommend! My boyfriend and I just stayed here and it exceeded our expectations. The room (the cleftstone) was spotless and absolutely stunning! The owners were lovely and the breakfast was superb. There is tea and cookies out with a beautiful common area to sit in. The owners dog is also adorable. The inn is in walking distance of downtown but tucked a bit away so its nice and quiet. We will be returning!!!

The location is just perfect! Not too far from anything, but far enough to not be stuck in all of the traffic. Our room was spacious, clean, and adorable. The bed was so comfortablemightve been more comfortable than mine at home. Breakfast was amazing and Anne and the staff were so kind!! We will definitely be staying here again.
