Graduate Painting

The end quality was nowhere near what we were expecting, given the above premium price they charge. Paint runs, cut in lines bleeding across surfaces, paint on light fixtures that weren't removed, etc. Make sure you read and understand your contract. Their premium quote includes putting paint on the wall, period. Nothing at all to prep the wall like filling screw holes or anything like that. The job took about twice as long as we were originally told. Communication was pretty poor. Some days the painter would just pack up and leave at noon with no explanation. Save yourself about 50% and go straight to a painter instead of paying GP to be a middle man that schedules jobs.

We hired Graduate Painting to paint our cabinets and entry way in our new home. From the estimate to the finished job, they more than exceeded our expectations. Barry, who did the painting, is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and the quality of work was more than we could’ve asked for. Randy was excellent with communication as well. Graduate Painting is the best in the business! We just moved into our new, forever home and hired them to paint our whole upstairs...and they did NOT disappoint. Our painter, Clayton, is a master of his craft! He’s very detail-oriented, and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Moving can be very stressful, but Graduate Painting helped to minimize the stress and added much happiness to our transition. I can’t imagine going with any other company. We hired these fellows to paint our vacation home on MDI. It is always hard to hire a reliable contractor from 300 miles away. We were NOT let down. They came as they said they would and did a great job. We had a few minor things we wanted to have addressed which they did without any issue. I would highly recommend.

We just moved to Maine from out of state and had a specific time frame in which we needed work done. After calling around for estimates and checking references we decided to go with Graduate Painting. The were prompt in responding, professional and able to meet our timelines.
