When my dream home suddenly appeared on the market I called Elisha who explained that the homeowner wanted to sell quickly, and was only taking bids for two more days. I was completely unprepared to make a bid on a house and my wife and I had just begun talking about it a couple of months before. She linked me with Academy Mortgage Rob Cross who walked my wife and I through the mortgage application in the evenings and over the weekend, and I was able to make a bid by Monday morning. Elisha also helped me understand the bidding process, counter offer process, and what steps to take before and after the bid was excepted. Additionally, when the process was nearing completion, she offered to help me arrange the renting of my home to my daughter and son in law. When my daughter is ready to purchase, I will definitely call Elisha for her expertise, compassion, and professional ethics which she brings to her work.

Elisha was good with the initial process and sold our home quickly. There were times when the buyer was asking for items like the house to be professionally cleaned prior to them buying. I believe we should have never even received this question and our agent should have flat out refused such a request. Sometimes I felt our agent was working for the buyer and not us.The discouraging part is she never showed up for the closing. As the real estate agent showing and helping us sell the house she should have been there. The appointment was scheduled way on advance and just prior to the signing she texts she can't be there because of a meeting she couldn't get out of. A real-estate agent is paid to be there from the beginning to the end. Alot of money was given to the agent with not much effort put in.

I was happy to work with Berkshire Hathaway. They are well known in the area and do a good job with marketing your home. Their app lets you know when your home is being shown and provides you with feedback as to what buyers liked or didn't like about your place. I felt that this feedback gives an overall better understanding of what about your home appeals to buyers and what needs to be improved. Elisha always provided her input and encouragement and despite my home being older and in need of a little TLC, she still managed to get it sold quickly and for a fair price. Overall I was very happy with my selling experience.
