      image When my dad was a resident, the administrator and staff did not follow up on their promises of home cooked meals and quality care. He was fed cold sandwiches, Kool-Aid and potato chips on a daily basis while the CNA ate fresh, hot takeout pizza and watched TV, smoked out on the stoop and played on her phone. My dad cleaned the bathroom, common room and kitchen--which they loved! Their offer to take him on short walks around the neighborhood (he had dementia and was afraid of getting lost) NEVER happened. This is more of a "group home" than an AL facility.
