Shoe Dept.

As I was shopping in shoe depot today I was disgusted by the behavior of the employees, especially Elizabeth who claimed to be the store manager. A woman asked about a price of an item and Elizabeth in turn gave her an attitude and proceeded to talk about her to another employee, quite loud and swearing while there were children in the store. The womans young daughter ended up crying and when the woman went to purchase shoes for her daughter Elizabeth told her to leave and she was calling the police at which time the woman calmly waited outside the store for the police to arrive. After reading other reviews this seems to be a common occurrence at this store. Also sad to see the generic response to all these complaints, make me wonder why nothing has been done to rectify the attitudes of the employees in the store. I will never go there again and will definitely tell others not to either. Do better Shoe Depot Your reply is an automated reply to EVERYONE who has a complaint, which is a concern about how you really care about your customers. I also made a phone call and have NOT received a call back! Customer service is key, but given so many similar complaints against this particular store I am not surprised!

Really good prices! Love the children's hey dudes, they are so cute. Plus the staff are so friendly. Definitely, a must-stop if you like to save some cash on new shoes. They also have a great loyalty program where for every $20 you spend you get $1 in reward points that never expire plus a $10 in rewards for your birthday.

This place was great. until it wasnt. My boyfriend and I come here frequently to buy shoes because they always have great deals going on. On June 8th, my boyfriend purchased a new pair of HeyDudes from here. We went again yesterday, June 12th, to look for some for me. As were just looking around, a woman that was working comes up to us and says do these look familiar? She showed us a box of HeyDudes, the same ones that my boyfriend had on, that had been swapped out with something else. She immediately began to accuse my boyfriend of stealing the shoes that were on his feet, and asked us if she needed to call the police. Thankfully, the bottom of his shoes were pretty dirty, so it was clear they were not brand new and were not stolen from the store. She immediately began apologizing and saying that there has been a lot of theft going on. I dont feel its fair to go up to random customers and accuse them of stealing, just because theyre wearing a shoe that is popular. All we were doing was looking at shoes before she came up to us, we didnt even try any on! Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I will NOT be returning to this store. Such a shame because they do have nice shoes and good prices, but we do not feel safe at this location.
