The rooms have roaches. The rooms are not serviced. The linens are dirty. The staff is rude. It seems that the people that stay here are mostly undesirables. We were going to book multiple rooms for employees here but not under these conditions. Who knows what this stain was. Disgusting and nasty.

The room was dirty, hair all in the bathroom, floor was filthy. My wife swept and moped before we unpacked and the swiffer pad was black. Day 2 we seen roaches. We had the room reserved for a month and planned to reserve it longer. Trenika the manager was so rude. When I asked for a refund she told me, " you must have just lost your job and want more money." I slept like a baby. The bed was high up but comfortable. There is an alarm clock and a bedside charging station for electronics. The heating/cooling system is first rate. The shower/tub and toilet are adequate. You can ask for more linens at any time. I did not need the room cleaned during my 5-day stay, but the service is available for the asking. The front service desk closes at 8 PM; however, there is a 24-hour emergency number available for all residents. I appreciated how nice everyone was to me, enjoyed my stay, and told all my Lake Charles church friends about the place for future reference. I am low maintenance, so I don't need all the bells and whistles provided by the large-scale hotels. Rooms: My room was basically clean, adequate for my needs, and very affordable! You pay for your stay on the day you check in, but you have the option to extend your stay during the night before the 11 AM checkout time. Walk-ins may find a 'no vacancy' situation since, at such an affordable price, lots of folks extend their stay. It is best to reserve your room months in advance in order to be guaranteed a room. Door Dash delivers to your rooms / leaves purchased items outside the door if there is no answer. People have their pets with them, but I heard no barking. There is a complimentary, self-service coffee bar every morning from 7AM till 10 AM. Safety: The rules are serious. Almost any infraction of the rules will cause eviction. I felt very safe as a woman, traveling alone. Food & drinks: I loved that I had ice trays for ice, a full-size fridge, a 2-burner stove, a microwave, and a large-screen TV with cable and WIFI. There is an easy chair and a desk chair for your convenience. Noteworthy details: The on-site laundromat had ample machines/dryers that were operated by a cellphone app (no actual money required). I also enjoyed the on-site gym with two mirrored walls! The 1st floor vending machine was completely stocked. It took dollar bills only, but it did give change.
