Engel & Völkers Slidell

Unfortunately, Ive nothing but negative comments to share about my experience with Engel & Volkers - specifically Agent Benjamin M. Tiblier. Ben is truly very unprofessional and not to be trusted. In my most recent experience, he made misrepresentations, and minimized how those misrepresentations negatively impacted my family and I. If you find yourself across the table with him, I would run for the hills - because you are in trouble. Definitely two thumbs down.

My agent here. To me, I felt like she was working with the seller. Buyer beware! Ginelle Duncan is who I worked with. Still haven't received any information about what's going on with my cancelation.

I was very disappointed with the absence of post sale service in July 2023. I've sold three homes in my lifetime and this is the very first time I've experienced an agent (Cheryl Chapel) not providing some gesture of a Thank You. My experience was due in part to an estate sale in which I was managing from out of state. The entire selling process was extremely emotional, stressful, and physically draining due to traveling. I expected at the very least, the agent would have sent a thank you card. This agent sent and said NOTHING. She was very nice with the southern charm, but once the sale was finalized at closing, she went silent (ghost). I should have followed my gut and signed with with another agent, but this is the agent (Chapel) was my mother's choice. She was also the agent who sold my mother her home which lends to why I expected more (a thank you). My mother was a repeat customer and trusted this person. She could have given her business (home sale) to ANYONE but she chose Ms. Chapel with Engels & Volkers. The lack of gratitude infuriates me. I hope this serves as a reminder that quality customer service includes the post sale and a simple Thank You.
