        I had an awesome experience here! I'm so thrilled to have found a Michael's store that actually sells fabric by the yard! I don't know why the locations that are near my home don't sell fabric by the yard, but they made me believe that was the standard for Michael's stores. I was wrong and pleasantly surprised! The sweet lady cutting my fabric was having a little trouble with her handheld device, so she called her manager and he was immensely helpful to both her and me; he quickly resolved the issue and was very professional and friendly when doing so. Best of all, the lovely nonbinary employee who checked me out was super fast and friendly. I think their name was Izan, I hope I got that right because they were so awesome and I want to give them a shoutout specifically! I don't know when I'll get a chance to come back to this location as I'm only in Louisiana on vacation, but the next time I'm back in Slidell visiting family I'll try to make another stop!
