Update: I am pleased to report that this Logan's Roadhouse continues to exceed my expectations. Maybe don't try to upsale garlic butter as an added charge? I'm sure there is garlic in the grill seasoning and there is butter on the table. But all was wonderful this evening. Consistency is key. I will be the first to say my expectations of a steak restaurant are high. But I believe a great steakhouse should be able surpass my expectations. Logan's Roadhouse has not always done that. This past Saturday, they did. My lunch companion and I ordered two different cuts of steak. Both were prepared to temperature perfection. The sides were great as well, though a few more French fries on the plate would have been ideal. We ordered mushrooms and wings as appetizers. They were great. The Romain lettuce was Fresh and Crisp. I guess the secret is to visit this lovely place when the kitchen is not slammed. The only times I've really noticed issues are when they are full. If this wonderful establishment can maintain to great experience at lunch, to the busier evening, they could become one of the best eateries in the city, and that's a high, hopeful praise because we have many great places to dine here.
