I needed some embroidery done for a business conference and found Appli-K's Embroidery downtown. They are the ONLY Embroidery business open on Saturday!!!! I had two polo shirts that needed business logos added. Katy matched the corporate colors and font beautifully. FYI...they also carry Happy Everything and I had to purchase a wreath bc it was super cute. I will definitely be a returning customer!! Thank you Katy for your amazing work and wonderful customer service.

My favorite gift shop has re-located to the 400 block of Crockett Street in downtown Shreveport. As always, I found some really fun and cute items. They also do wonderful embroidery(it appears to be their bailiwick) One of my favorite downtown Shreveport shops has relocated to co-hab the space at 616 Texas Street with another favorite, Redefine Design(see my previous review of this boutique for pictures) I must confess, I felt a bit of an infidel when I bought merchandise from one of these shops on any day I did not also buy from the other. Was I betraying some consumer patronage loyalty? My personal conflictions have been resolved! I am no longer a two-timing, double-talking, side winder. (I felt a bit like a child leading one grandmother to believe she was the favorite over the other when the truth is they are both perfect in their own unique ways) TMI? Okay, I'll get to it. These two venues complement each other perfectly. To support one vender in a co-op of this type is to support all the venders who have merchandise here to sell. And make no mistake, you will find desirable products here, rather it be the perfect gift for a specisl event or a bit of decor for your home of office - (summer cabin retreat?) I think you will love what there is to find at Appli-k's Embroidery and Gifts, together with Rededine Design, the venue that is a setter of standards in unique home and affordable home decor.
