Absolutely First Rate Hospital!! They saved my life and I am so grateful for the Doctors, nurses and support staff that took such great care of me. It doesn't get any better than this!!!

Ive had 16 surgeries in 4 states over the years and this hospital overall has the WORST staff and er/admit patient care ! The bad ones do not listen to you at all. Ive got nurses and patient care technicians lying to me telling me theyre not doing something and theyre sitting there doing it. ( I am in the medical field so I know what theyre doing. I asked them to please stop and they dont listen to me & keep doing it) . If you can go anywhere (be it a graveyard) go there before you come to this joke of a hospital !! You call the nursing department (Alan) and asked for an investigation (and a call back) and nobody does it. You ask a patient care technician not to come into your room, or leave, and they flat out refuse, then threaten to call security. Then the head nurse sends the same girl in my room 2days later anyways ?! This is Violating my patient rights. They refuse to give you the names of people who refuse to leave your room, (only nurses wear badges) and they tell you they cant give that to you which violates my federal civil rights as I have to have somebodys name in order to file a complaint with the federal government.was told by a patient care tech since I declined to use a urine system Ive never had luck with 3 hrs prior, that I now couldnt try it. I was crying in pain for an hour n a half. Family tried the charge nurse first and got lip, was laughed at, in turn they had to call the hospital offices before anyone came in. I was denied the basic human right to urinate increasing my pain after major surgery. If they dont like you, you are surely punished and made to know. If this happens on the weekend you are out of luck. Highlights are the Nurses Sharon, Freddie, EJ and Connie. Best PCT Martin, Debbie, and Robin. Food staff and housekeeping go out of their way to help you and see that they hand you anything you need before leaving your food. Kudos to the good people I worked with. My next 5 surgeries, any emergencies (my grandchildren or family needs) will however be going anywhere but here.

The employees are sorely lacking in telephone skills. It was once standard practice for anyone to announce who they are and then ask to speak to the person they are calling. Unfortunately it is not only this hospital and doctors offices, rudeness is rampant in all businesses. I chose this hospital because I have faith in them but such rudeness from office personnel is not comforting. All of my interaction face to face has been amazing but the persons who call to verify appointments and billing/insurance have been lacking I am sorry to say. To some it may seem petty to be concerned with professionalism but it does affect the level of confidence in the management if something so easy to correct is left lacking. It costs nothing to announce who you are and what facility you are calling from before you start a conversation with a complete stranger.
