This apartment complex went downhill within 15 months of me staying here they hired a new guy. This new guy rented my apartment out from underneath me when I was trying to keep it and then put me in another apartment that everything is not working at my fridge raider is a freezer. My stove only works on high dishwasher floods the kitchen the washer and dryer are so old that they cant get your clothes clean you cant cook food for your children because your food will burn on high. The stove has no other settings. This is a really rundown apartment complex that you pay high dollar. trying to talk to the corporate office they keep putting me on hold saying Im yelling at them when Im not they are very unprofessional dont wanna listen too me.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Carpet was used when moved in, cat hair every where. Carpet was damaged due to water leak from my neighbor upstairs (AC and dishwasher) and they blamed everything on me. Charged over $1500 for carpet damage when moved out, more than one month rent. RIDICULOUS

Dont move here! 1st lake properties are scammers. We have lived in the PREMIER apartment for 4 years and watched our rent climb each year. You could be getting a much nicer, cleaner apartment with an elevator downtown for the same the price or less. We recently moved out and 1st lake tried to charge us a ridiculous amount of money for what they claimed was urine in the carpet. We have never owned a pet. They took our deposit even though the apartment was left in great condition. All because we are moving to a better apartment. The pool is always dirty. The gate never works. The shower and sink water has a foul odor. The gym is filled with old equipment and dirty carpet. They dont replace broken appliances. You will be paying upwards of $1600-1900 monthly and it is simply not worth it!!! Do not fall for the pictures online, they are old. They will take advantage of you.

For the price of apartments within the New Orleans area, this apartment complex was affordable and at a good value. However, the property is within an area thats mostly cemented, yet there is a lot of greenery in the outside area immediately surrounding the apartments. That greenery is well-kept by contracted gardeners. I did see a few shingles falling off of the apartment complex in an an area or two. The fitness center was almost impressive for an apartment complex. (I understand it was little bit larger than most fitness centers at apartment complexes within the area.) The staff was professional and courteous. The apartment had walk-in closets. There were vaulted ceilings on the third floor. There were also washers and dryers within the apartments. The amenities in the apartment were nice. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good value for the price.
