Near Convention Center and bridge it is a nice place to sit and gather your thoughts when walking your dog and enjoying the early morning or late afternoon day.

The Mississippi River Heritage Park is a fairly large, shady and nicely fenced area very near the Convention Center. The park is spacious and clean with lots of grass to run and play. There is no playground equipment here but lots of benches.
