        Its really not a tourist attraction. When New Orleans had this building constructed there was quite a bit of controversy and it was first used as a police station. Later it was resolved, the roof completed and James Gallier completed it as the City Hall. Today it is not related to the city but is a venue serving weddings and balls

        This is not City Hall, though it used to be back before the ugly one on Perdido was built. Various TV shows use this location for the architecture and surroundings, but it's currently just an event space for weddings and such
