This is a can't miss if you are in New Orleans, but be sure you have a full day or break it up into two visits. If you hold onto your ticket (which is a tiny clip you clip on your shirt) you can come back for a second day for just $11. There is a cafeteria next to the store with a decent food selection but no food or drinks are allowed in the second or third floors. The exhibits are amazing and focus on personal perspectives and experiences. You have to experience it. Weekdays are better in terms of crowds and parking.

Really great museum with so many rich exhibits. A very good day for the family (kids 10 and 13). Some of the material is quite heavy as they touch on the realities of war and the Holocaust

The World War II Museum really is a one of a kind places that you must visit when your in a trip in New Orleans. It really has a deep and thorough history of the world and the many sacrifices that were made. It's around 3-4 hours.
