I was very very pleased with the Sanford store! I just live this place, they have amazing furniture from brand new to used for super inexpensive prices and they will even haggle with u if u think an item should be cheaper or say like me I only had ten bucks in me that day so I asked the lady if I could grab what I was trying to buy for ten they were asking 15 (it was sweeper) attachments/extras for shark brand sweepers) but anyways super nice people and they deliver too and also will come and pick things up from ur place donations and such so also they even have a program that offers up ton50% off a ftha loans down payment - programs like that I'm sure they all maybe a little different but amazing place guys I love it!!!!

Some stuff is way overpriced, even for brand new items. But I've found some good finds. Wish they carried more home decor. The used furniture is priced too high in my opinion

There is more than one HHR location. The large one, next the Highway - at Elysian Fields is our fave, tho': staffed by helpful, friendly people. Be prepared to browse, 'cause you never know what you'll discover. And is that not a cool thing??. Crockery, appliances, lamps, construction supplies, end tables, fridges, books and records, paintings...on and on....just the place for incurable thrifters like me and Ric. I even went to the second (Kenner) store and noticed some sewing machines...pianos...and waist length fisherman boots...La Dee Dah!!!

I went in looking for white shaker style cabinets and got exactly what I was looking for and for $40 each. Everyone was very nice and friendly.

The Habitat ReStore is a great place to pick up cheap building materials, furniture, paint, appliances, and other household goods. They have a pretty random selection/stock of items on most days, however, they also keep a standard stock of paint/primer, tiles, and roofing materials.Other items include cabinets, granite slabs, chairs, doors, office furniture, electrical cable, picture, video games/movies, and seasonal items. Most of these are donated, so the stock varies on a daily basis. The staff there is super knowledgeable about building items and can help you load items into your car or load pallets into your truck with a forklift. Everyone here is very mission driven and works hard to make sure you can find what you need. The best part is that all this stuff gets reused and stays out of landfills!
